Welcome to my blog and showcase!

I’ve just finished up working for cloud tech giant Salesforce in Dublin, where I supported various student recruitment programmes. Now I’m looking for a new adventure somewhere I can really put my multimedia skills to the test!

Previously I wrote content for eBay Inc, organised events and communications for Google and worked on video and social media projects for Amazon. Trained journalist, project manager and occasional magician, my passion lies at the intersection of technology and politics, an area which I regularly explore while experimenting with new multimedia techniques. I have also taken several online courses in data journalism and infographic design, and am HubSpot certified in inbound marketing and sales.

With a strong bias for action and an eye for detail, I pride myself on getting great results fast. My philosophy is to put automation and process improvements in place whenever possible so as to focus on the long-term goals of a project. I thrive in fast-paced, open and collaborative environments, where no two days are the same and great ideas win out.

According to the Gallup/Clifton StrengthsFinder test, my top 5 strengths are:

  • Learner
  • Futuristic
  • Responsibility
  • Ideation
  • Self-Assurance

In 2012 I graduated with a 2:1 BA (Hons) degree in  Journalism and the News Industry from the UK’s University of Kent, at their Centre for Journalism, before completing two internships at Amazon’s EU headquarters in Luxembourg.

I then moved to Ireland where I worked as a university projects and events coordinator for Google, as a content writer for eBay and PayPal, and then as a senior university recruitment coordinator at Salesforce.

I’m always up for a new adventure, so if you’d like to learn more about me, request my help with a project or get a copy of my CV please get in touch through any of the channels below.

Cheers!
Paul
